You are to be commended for writing on this most recent event.
Your poem is well written and conveys the horrific destruction of ancient buildings and homes alike. Well done.
Warm regards,
Wendy.

Very good job in this well written free verse regarding the devastating earthquake in Nepal. This is sad, over 2,000 lives have been lost and the count is still rising.

I like the picture. I am glad you wrote about the earthquake. The historic sites can never be replaced. People run their lives better when surrounded by the good their ancestors have done. The people can not be replaced. Generations will be fractured. Great work.

7,8 this quake registered on the Richter Scale it was said. Widespread devastation, death and destruction. It's such a terrible tragedy, for everyone involved.
A well written poem you've created to showcase their plight... ~Dean

Hi Ine,
You did a wonderful job in writing this poem about the terrible earthquake that the Capital of Nepal had. I'm so happy that we, in Minnesota, don't get things like that. Thanks for sharing!

I'm getting tired, but every time I come to FS I have replies and messages to answer and reviews to write. I end up being on here for hours. Whew!

This is a sad free verse that acts as a reporting arm. Capturing this tragedy like this helps to remind us, in this fast-paced world, of the human suffering going on around the world.

A solid piece of writing, but I would have liked you to share some emotions. This is just too factual to rate 5 stars. You say "People too, should be mentioned first" and then don't talk about people. It flows well.
