+ the picture is outstanding and very relevant, reflective, appropriate and complementary to the poem. And just like your poem says they look self absorbed in what they're doing.
+ Excellent use of enjambment which is the running on of a thought and concepts in one stanza and line to the next without a syntactical break.
+ This word acrostic is written perfectly and fits the requirements necessary for the contest.
+ Very good imagery which is very distinct, clear and exquisitely expressive and vividly and demonstratively descriptive: "they did look weird, some were of a feeble stance, not your typical sight from seniors...". This term fits your picture perfectly.

It took a bit of thinking as to how to approach it. Is it your own idea?

Yes, it is my creation. I have been pleased with the response to the contest. I may create another contest for it later but as a blind entry contest.
