I must have missed this one, Brooke as I miss one or two of yours from time to time, though I read them all.
You know this kind of story has a soft spot with me. I love the magic of innocence. It transports back to a time where we lived in thoughts and fantasies now no longer at our disposal. Yet, they live for the innocent, and long may it be so.
Lovely wording and fantastic imagery.
''stop and ''dropped'' not your best rhyme but adequate is it for a super write.
You always deliver,be it simple, funny, cryptic or magical...this has all of those ingredients.
Bravo,
RG

Very good poem. It tells a charming story. It rhymes well and has good rhythm. Children would probably enjoy hearing it read to them.

This is one of my new favorites, now. I just love the story, the new idea for the first snowflake, and the perfect rhyming sequence. I am a sucker for any fairy story...and to add fairy dust is a plus!
