Hi, Jan. Sounds like the Olympics did affect Lexi pretty good. She was trying to emulate some very good athletes for sure. Your poem tells the story well. One can see the action very well with your words. Bob

Smiles Jan,
I loved your rhyming poem about Lexi.
She sounds like a very active and bright child.
How old is she?
Just to think she was so inspired from the summer Olympics

Gert

Hi Jan,

What a darling poem. Sounds like Lexi having a ball and is quite the coquette with the boys. Innate femininity, I call it. Can't be taught, they have it or they don't.

Can't wait to see a new picture of her!

Love,
Gayle

Hi Rdfrdmom2

Sounds like Action Girl really got into the gymnastics there, you'll have to watch her as she grows now.

Good poem, nice reminder for her in years to come.

This was a wonderful work. I too have seen kids picking up and mimicking the games. It always makes me smile in delight.

This was a joy to read and had me grinning from ear to ear.
I started wondering if they can pick this up so easily without us really noticing....how they much such up the flip side of darker emotions etc.

Thanks for sharing.
Maureen

Hi Jan,

I loved watching my granddaughter do these very same things when she was very young. Now she's 16 (today) and on the dance team for basketball and football games. They grow up so fast!

Great poem!

Hugs,
Lois

I loved reading this!! It sure sounds like little Lexi had a great day. :-)
You expressed all the fun well in these well written rhyming couplets, I laughed or loud at tumbling down the slide butt over feet.

I enjoyed this sweet poem about the little girl's adorable antics. You rhymed all the way through. We could all take a lesson from children about trying new things. Thanks for sharing this.

Child prodigies can develop at any age, but they cannot be made. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words. This is very fine writings.
