To adewpearl,
A poem that describes the emotions that people feel after someone's demise. But even though we feel sorrow still the cosmos continues to go 'round.

Oh, this is so beautifully enchanting, like an ode to life and death. I like this one so well: "The day I die love's blush will bloom, a babe will breathe his first full breath."

Brooke, how heart-breaking for you to lose your Mommy so very young. And to be an auntie so young as well. I have to tell you that, without the author notes, this rispetto truly touched me. The author notes just made it even more poignant.
I think you're such a wonderful person.
Hugs

Thanks, Kat - I have pictures of me, so young, with those babies on my lap - you should see the look of love in my face. What a proud aunt I was :-) Brooke

Oh, this is soooo cute, my friend. The idea of the cycle of birth and death is very well presented here. Indeed it's all about different strokes for different folks. kudos

I like your thoughts Brooke,
of how you say how God plans to brings a new born babe into the world when ones soul is taken from this Earth
I have always liked the Italian rispetto form which is not easy to compose.

Very thought provoking rispetto about the circles in life Brooke. I enjoyed the juxtaposition of thoughts about life and death. Sue

Comment from Poetic Friend
Brooke, in your usual flair, you have presented a beautiful poem, packed with awestruck imagery, unique phrasing and alliteration.
I am not advancing your death, but the day you die, the world will lose a great poetess.

I think everytime we lose a loved one our world stops. Even if it's only a momemt it seems like an eternity and is a moment we will never get back. It's only memories that keeps the past alive, but the world around us never skips a beat, life death and all that is in between is the circle of life. Very well done. Short and says it all. Mike

This is a completion of poetic thoughts in so many varied ways. I found this piece of poetic art to be well written and to have a very good view of it thinking process. It was just a pleasure to have read and written a review for... John

this is the truest of the true...the circle of life no matter which end we are on will continue on... but death does not make your energetic presence here gone. it is not ashes to ashes...it is energy reformed and still alive in well in another form...yours, diana
