It is so good to read a Lexi poem again - they are filled with such love and joy - I can just see the smile on your face as this little girl creates rainbow days in your world :-) Brooke

Jan,

well written poem, my friend. Great descriptives which allow easy imagery and the narration is very smooth.
Well done

Your poem was so short and full of sentiment. I thought it had a good flow. It is sweet. I really liked it. The picture that is with it is awesome. Keep doing what you are doing. Thanks for sharing with us. Queenise

Oh, what a short but sweet poem to convey your feelings for your grandchild. This was a pleasure to read and review. Good luck with your book.

A beautiful poem from the heart, portraying the joy a grandmother feels being with her grandchild.

I like the reference to the rainbow, which allows endless possibilities to your joy. - Thesis

Grandchildren are a wonderful and thrilling experience. I just recently became a great grandmother at 60 and today (maybe any minute) I will become a grandmother again too. You have so vividly describe the beauty of sharing those special times and find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...your grandchild. Enjoy to the max!

Very exquisit, a wonderful gift for any child especially a beloved grand child. You have deftly conveyed such deep and binding emotion with very few well chosen words. No nits. Lora

This is tiny, touching, and beautiful, like a child. And you imply that it's not only that spending time together that's like a rainbow -- grandchildren themselves are like rainbows, too: bright, breathtaking, and often appearing "out of the blue." :) A lovely tribute.

I've been gone for months myself (the death of my father sent me into a tailspin) and I just saw this today. You're most welcome. And I hope you're feeling better. :)

Thank you so much. I'm learning a lot about grief -- how powerful it is and how long it goes on. Anyway, your kind words help. :) By the way, I glanced at your bio and love the activities you're involved in. Great work you're doing -- for kids, for everybody. Take care. Fondly, Karen
