Yes, I agree, Bobby Jo. We all depend on others for one thing or another. Accepting this fact helps us to be free.

Hello Joan.
Yes, I am very fortunate to have great caregivers who take good care of me.
Dependency doesn't have to mean a bad thing. Who knows what the future will bring? As for now, I am at peace with myself.

We all experience dependency since none of us can provide everything we need in order to function. One of the biggest things we need is the company or companionship of other humans. Your inspiring poem tell us that once we accept who we are and what we need, only then are we free.

I think we all want to be accepted but it should only be for those who repent and given another chance. Most people complicate certain nice person's lives. Excellent work! Thank you for sharing!

I am accepting my situation of needing caregivers indefinitely. That is true acceptance.

I am fortunate to have found excellent caregivers who take good care of me. I accept that this is so and for me that is the best thing that could ever happen to me.

It appears as we age we find less and less people we can count on in our daily lives. Is it because they simply live a busy life or that what we might need doesn't rise to the level of importance that they deem necessary. I for one count on my self and accept that others will not be there when I need them.
