This is a cool mixture of a minute poem assignment and a choice capture of father and son learning about sharing. The learning never really ends when it comes to sweet treats.

Now we see the Sawyer and the guilty party of making things happen. Just keep a sharing heart. Good character. Thanks Brooke. Great photo. Shalom

I learn so much here - I have never heard of a minute poem. I shall have to study more!

What is water ice? Is it like an Italian ice or sherbert? Regardless, your poem is adorable. I can see Sawyer thinking aloud!

Another triumph.

AT, yes, it is Italian ice, very popular here in PA where there are lots of Rita's. My daughter and son-in-law were ecstatic when Rita's opened franchises in California, and now Sawyer is thrilled too. LOL :-) Brooke

I remember, as a id in NYC, getting an Italian ice and squeezing the paper cup for all it was worth. Now here in Virginia... nothing remotely like it. I miss so much from childhood. Have a blessed evening. jd

Water ice? something like sherbert? I've never heard of a minute poem until today, another new one on me. Of course the picture of our little star and his daddy are perfect. I like the feel of this style of poem. God loves you and so do I.

Water ice is a wonderful food that just got imported to California from my area, and my daughter and son-in-law are thrilled as they have missed it so much. It's not really that much like sherbet and not really like shaved ice - it's its own food group and really really really good :-) Sawyer kept saying "Yummy ice." LOL
Thanks so much, Janie :-) Brooke

I really enjoyed this minute poem and I could see it complemented by the picture. I saw high you continued on which are sentenced to reach first. Is that popular any minute poem. Thank you for sharing this Brooke with everyone. May you have a good one and God bless.

I used to enter the prompts all the time for the first year and a half I was here and won my fair share of them. They do inspire. I miss entering them :-)
