I have read quite a bit of your poetry now, and many of them celebrate nature. I never tire of the reverent tone you apply to all things naturally beautiful. This is in the same league. Lovely, Brooke. I enjoy appreciating nature through your work and have bookcased many.

Lexie, thank you for responding in such a thoughtful way to this poem and my nature poetry in general - I truly appreciate it :-) Brooke

This is a wonderful poem. One of the times I've found the most peace in my life is when I used to take my horse out on long trail rides. I'd find all sorts of places that were just beautiful. There are times when I really miss the park we used to ride through. Great job on this! :)

I've only ever been on a horse once - my bad knees don't do well with the getting up on it part. LOL I bet it is so much fun!!! Thanks for your lovely comments. Brooke

My my we are feeling frivolous today. this is cute and lighthearted. I love the honeysuclke especially after a rain shower.

After it snowed here Monday and was close to 0 degrees Farenheit, it is 40 today, and forecast to be 50 tomorrow and 60 on Saturday! I couldn't be more thrilled. I'm bummed for you because of your snow - but I'm sure that will all be over soon :-) Thank you for your kind review, Brooke :-)
