Oh so true! The lines: "In this hush of dawn so calm,silence forms a wordless psalm". God's creation is unsurpassed in silent-speech Surcease...oh how we need this in our lives.Nicely alliterated,as well.

The opening lines made me think of Wordworth's Composed upon Westminister Bridge. I love the challenge of this form. You have the talented knack of making each repetition stronger because of the new lines feeding into them.

Yes, certainly a stunning photo to introduce this poem, a mirage form which I have never seen before, but the form is well-introduced in the author's note. A clear rhyme scheme. I found the alternating repeat stanzas created an almost hypnotic rhythm, and the language is poetically elegant. Thanks for this one!
