A lovely triolet written about the serious intention of capturing the heart of a love. The image shows innocence with the expressions on the faces. brilliant photo.
Well done. Mary

Watch out, you may be arrested for sexual harassment! First, I love the picture (photo) used. Secondly, I like the combination of terms. Instead of calling the one who stole a kiss as a thief, you call that person a poacher. You have clearly stated that it is not a crime if love is in the heart of the poacher. Which means without love in the heart it becomes a crime. This is a job well done.

I love the poem. Its rhyme and rhythm is excellent. Eight beats to a line and the picture of two kids in a lovely kiss
is demonstrative of the poem's theme. Congratulations for a well written poem. Dom

You are very welcome, Brooke. Did you notice I enrolled in your course...? I'm not in a hurry, anyway. I'll perhaps be late but I will catch up.

Yes, Dom - over the weekend I will be sending out notes asking people when they want the times for chats to be :-)

Brooke, "A Stolen Kiss" is not a crime, is such a sweet poem. The photograph is amazing. These two little children are going to be friends forever. Chloe's parents are so lucky to have a nanny like Miranda. Chloe and Sawyer each have someone to play with. Chloe is able to experience the same play experiences that a family has, while Chloe's mother is working, which is so much better for Chloe than a Day Care Center. You and yours are a wonderful family. Carole

Carole, thank you so much :-) Chloe is a play date, not the girl Miranda nannies. Miranda nannies Nora and Chloe has her own nanny LOL - it's hard to keep score sometimes. LOL Brooke

Cuckoo clocks and poached eggs, Brooke? Great poem - is it for the valentine contest. Good luck if so. Best wishes to you and your family as always, Pete

Just as I figured, the Cute Little One is growing up to be quite a heart breaker :) But who can resist him? Thank you for sharing another gem.

If we could give stars for the illustrations you use, I fear you'd get all my sixes. This one is at least a ten star photo, however. How cute!!! And how perfect for Valentine's Day. But the poem is first class as well. A perfect triolet with excellent rhymes and every line just right to tell the sweet story. I think I see a winner in the triolet contest. This is utterly charming and the picture too cute to ever forget.

This poem reminds me of my four year old grandson who was playing in a very large sandy area under playground equipment. This little girl with long curls hung upside down from the equipment looking at Owen and his little friends. Owen looked up at the little girl, and he said, "You're just beautiful." Owen didn't say this in any other way other than just with awe. I thought it was amazing. Thank you for the poem and the memory.

This is gorgeous, Brooke, and a very fine triolet. As usual, very original, fresh and entertaining. Sawyer looks a bit non-plussed, but it's a gorgeous photo.
