Interesting rhyming and rhythm as always. Laughter is a great subject matter for a child. Great art work that enhances the written work. Great background colors.

An inspired photo of Sawyer's reflection in a spoon! It's true that there's nothing more delightful than a child's giggle, happening at the most inappropriate times, in the most inconvenient places! Loved your poem Brooke, your obvious delight in this small boy is palpable, if and when you publish, it should be called:- "Reflections on one small boy". I can relate to it as I am very attached to my GC. Well done, nice abcb rhyming, even meter, blessings, Roy.

A sweet poem and what a cute subject reflected in the back of that spoon. I loved the line
"that giggle would not keep quiet" and "I know one was my undoing" nothing is more true they are contagious.
Sorry no sixes left

I can't wait until my granddaughter reaches this stage (recent teething has had kept the giggles at bay) It's such a lovely infectious thing when it happens though! Another perfect poem to make us smile. Thank you! Alexis x

Alexis, thank you :-) I hate when the wee little ones go through pain with teething, especially because they have no idea why they are in pain. Brooke

It's so nice when they come...As, it makes us so refreshed & think we are all meant to be happy people. We need to look on the sunny side of life, despite all the tragedies in the world...They have always been there...Though, so has been the unexpected giggles from what we find that life can help get us through..Helping to keep us healthy too, & in an optimistic frame of mind....Though, some of my family members giggle so hard, at times, it hurts as they get carried away, with uncontrollable laughter...

As an unrepentant giggler, actually really loud bent over falling down howler, that photo is just too too funny. Of course your poem is on target. What inspiration. Your daughter is a wonderful photographer as well.

It's been my experience that a giggle will grow in the most innapropriate places - like at a funeral service. Even the most mature, staid personalities have been known to almost suffocate trying to quelch the most innapropriate gales of laughter. Happened to me at least twice. It's very embarrasing. "I didn't invite it, but once it showed up, that giggle would not keep quiet." No one would blame that sweet face. But adults are expected to have more restraint, more's the pity! Fun stuff, Brooke.

Excellent, I love your little children's poems and my inner child does, too. This one made me giggle Tee-hee
Ypu could put these all in a scrapbook and let Sawyer save it for his children to enjoy. Great job!
