You know I love the traditional themes and styles, and this is no exception. You have a way of capturing the moment, the essence of a thought and making it into a beautiful verse with such flow and rhyme!
You are rapipdly becoming one of my favorites!
Sincerely,
Curt

Curt, that is a most lovely thing to say. Thank you. Your ver b thingy style is so contemporary and jazzy and I love it so much, but my words always want to come out smooth. I'm glad you like it when they do. Brooke

This is just lovely, the words
flowing smoothly, so soothing,
with great rhythm and rhyme..
complemented with such a beautiful
picture - relaxed me completely.

I thoroughly enjoyed the read,
Margaret.

This lulliby soothes the soul and calms the mind as the words sink into my heart. An inspiring piece that eases the pain and lonliness in the reader. Another great piece, Brooke. Judy

Brooke, this is too beautiful to express in words! The wonderful sentimentatility of it....and, the kindness is so touching. Loved the rhythm, rhyme and flow of the piece. This is so flawlessly done. Very good job. Hugs and smiles, Susanne

Hi Brooke,

Such a beautiful poem. Having just written & posted the poem that I have, just makes this one all that much more beautiful, yet so unattainable.

Anyway, as always it's beautifully written in every way.

smiles,

deb

Deb, now you've made me curious to go see your pathetic little offering. LOL I'm sure it is fantastic and will take a look in a couple of minutes. :-) You are most kind. Thank you, Brooke

Very pretty and very romantic, brooke. A lullaby for a maturer audience, and it works. I would come to whoever spoke these words. Think I slide it to my wife.

Lovely poem here, an adult lullaby or a wish to save our loved ones from the world as it is now.

I think I must be getting old though, finding the yellow on blue a little difficult - now where did I put my walking stick

best wishes
kate
