Loved your poem and the authors notes as well. I find your words and dialect to be quite interesting and fun to read. Together, they are most appealing. Nicely written, this piece is such a nice read. Loved it.

Well, I for one love the accent and the feel of the poem which ia birthed from the heart so I say just go for it and let those that are unhappy with it just be their normal unhappy self. Fun read. God loves you and I do too.

a little tough to understand, yet it was a good spiritual poem and lovely. Thanks for sharing and for putting down in the bottom, what the words meant.

Alexander, how lovely to see you posting today and to hear your sweet voice again :-) I am so happy to hear your wife is on the mend. I know from your wonderful poems how much you adore her. This is good news, indeed, my friend :-)

I really enjoyed the poem and the read. Your voice is calm and smooth so much so I could understand you, which I have to confess, being from the south of England I don't normally understand the real strong brogue of a Scotsman. That said, I did understand and I found your words to be beautiful, caring, warm and full of love. I am glad to read your 'lass' is better now, it is hard to watch someone you love dearly lie ill in bed. A very enjoyable poem. xsx Sandra

'Thank Heaven' is an extremely well-written and heart-wrenching piece. The author's notes though in my opinion, are far too long. The Scottish vernacular is wonderful, but a poem should I think be judged on its merits. It was a pleasure to read and review a work of this caliber.

What a fascinating read. Had to read it several times over as it is early morning here and I was not "expecting" such a delight of a work AND education into your heritage and way of expressing ones' self...I, too, tend to write in vernacular and get called on it BUT that just means the reader cannot get beyond the outward to the core. I will read you more . . thanks for adding the growth factor of your explanations: good!
