Hi Brooke, such a luscious and peaceful scene. Cows out to pasture and us raising our glasses for milk. All sounds so homely. I grew up on a ranch and can relate. We also harvested honey. I loved the rhyme and flow of your poem.
Oh, I did my first romance poem. When you have a moment please read and tell me what you think. No need to review - just pm me. I'll have to learn all the different styles. lol. luv jada

This poem says so much to me. A land of milk and honey where we will prosper. I also had reflections of my childhood when I used to visit my uncle's dairy ranch.
Nicely written with good rhyme and rhythm.
Best wishes,
Malcolm

An interesting snippet of information...
this piece is so different to the last
I just read, and yet, still it is an excellent
piece, Brooke -- smooth flow to the words, and to
both rhythm and rhyme -- and complemented
by a great picture. You never cease to amaze
me with all the different themes you come up
with.
We've so many new calves here -- and young
lambs -- a lovely time of year -- I take a
few extra walks just to go and watch them
leap about in some game they play.
Margaret.

I wonder if I can see it that way in Florida. Sometimes different angles don't allow that sort of thing. Great writing. You and Margaret will be responsible for my Rose poem. I just got so into wanting the colors you guys see. joan marie

You've confused me - see it what way? :-)

Sometimes you can't see things happening in the sky because of clouds or the angle of the earth is what I meant. jm
