G'day Cowgirl.
Just thought I'd do a couple of quick reads and get my fix of adventure before I go to work and get my fix of adventure.
"Everything about Junior is. He struts around like a, I don't know, what kind of animal struts?" (lol. A peacock! Is that an animal or another one of those birds who never learned how to fly?)
"We'd say, in our world, peacock." (Hahahaha!)
"Why don't you just go in there and punch him like you did the other guy in the hall?" (Ahhhh, so they teach boxing there.)
"and I don't need to remind you that our main goal is (to) escape."
"You can't see the break from the(this) distance, but when we find it,"
"Archie stepped forward, but was halted by the crack of a stick behind him.
"We're being followed." (Bugger!)
"I can't. It's my job to keep discipline in the house. Koko, your(you)know that."
"You can't just leave her here in the dirt. We're outside the fence. There are animals and insects everywhere." (Been there, done that, but not tied up though.)
"Most kids do at some point, but then they grow up and get common sense." (lol. What's that and who gets it? I've been looking for the thing for decades now! Sheesh, some hunter I turned out to be... can't even find common sense!)
Beautiful job, sis.
I always enjoy your little surprizes at the end of each chapter. So now they have a prisoner, well, sort of lol.
Looking forward to the next chapter.
Great work.
Cheers Fez

Oh, thank you for the brilliant review!!
I'm so glad you've gotten to the desert part of the story, because I've gotten some crazy comments from people on my survival stuff, and you've the only one who really knows whether it works or not. Unfortunately, they are in the desert a long time... something you'd know a lot about.
It's funny how you find mistakes the others have missed. Quick eye, my friend!
You know, I'd love to see some of your chapters appear on here!
Tell Kwalas howdy for me!

Interesting part of the story. Having Ayala along is going to complicate matters a bit. I thought this part of the story was entertaining, not knowing what obstacles they might face along the way. Great work!
Koko, your know that."--you

Hi Rhonda, this is just great. I read it holding my breath. Will they make their escape or what? Great pace and suspense in this well written piece. I'm out of sixes though. A great shame. All the best. Ulla:)))

Another great chapter. Good that they made it to the fence. They ran into Alaya there which isn't good Maybe Sani will go witht them. Alaya is going to have to be tied up or something. Off to read the next part.

A really great chapter, I was quickly reminded of the previous one I read (the notes are excellent) and enjoyed going along with their escape. Fast-paced, absorbing action and dialogue. I'd keep reading right now if I could!

Rhonda, this a really good chapter in which Koko and Archie finds Todd's book. Making their way out of the compound to get to the fence, which Koko found. Getting through it, they're confronted by Ayala and then Dani. Great dialogue and an excellent storyline. Always entertaining and well done my friend,,,,,,,Jim

Awww, Meia, you are so sweet!
Better be careful about thinking about sinking your teeth into something. You know how the Hokee people hate animals. They might send you to Mine City. Lol,
Thanks so much for the lovely and encouraging review,
Rhonda

Hello Rhonda
This is one of your best chapters so far
The action and dialogue are spot on
and the suspense is very good as they try to find the break in the fence
and slip through to find their bags
Having Ayala show up and being forced go with them adds to the drama
Sani is a fine addition, almost like an old sensei
The group appears to be complete
now the escape begin ... and likely pursuit
Excellent chapter
Well done!

Thank you so much for the wonderful six stars!!
I appreciate your comments on each part, and I am so happy the dialogue works. I worked a lot on tweaking it.
Ayala sort of had to go with the group, right? Couldn't leave sister behind, but she doesn't go easily!!
Sani is going to sort of play the part of a sensei or shaman. As always, you picked up on the smallest of hints.
Again, thank you so much!
Rhonda

This is a very good chapter. I haven't read any before, but this is a unique idea. I loved the description of Suni. I'm reading Lord of the Rings--Suni reminds me of Gandolf, the wizard.
Have a great day!

Thank you so much, Rasmine. I appreciate you stopping by to read. Sani will be a lot like Gandolf. Just a mysterious sort of guy with lots of advice. Thanks for you comments,
Rhonda

Hmmm ... just what Archie needs - more baggage to deal with. This was really well done. Koko is so true to form asking him to go in and punch Junior out LOL like that would allow them to get out unseen. I thoroughly enjoyed this and thank you very much for sharing it.

Thank you for reading it, and for your wonderful comments.
I know on Ayala. Archie doesn't have enough else to worry about without lugging Ayala around! But, then, I couldn't hardly leave her behind. haha.
Take care,
Rhonda

Maybe you should have put a hefty bag in Archie's sack ... then he could at least drag the wench around LOL.

That's too funny!!
