Yes it most certainly has its ups and downs, doesn't it. Thank you for the review. Carol

Where did this gem germinate? I particularly love all the AKA names. Are they all real? And I also greatly enjoyed the webssite, www.donedemleadboots. The piece/peace was a stretch however.

Yes, they are real and now I have to watch my back so none of them resurrect and come after me...accusing me of slander of course. LOL Thanks for the review. Carol

Rest in pieces LOL what a great pun Carol. A most
interesting and deeply moving piece of work about
a colorful character whose exploits herald down
through the ages...

Of course I will have to watch my back now or they will resurrect from the dead and come after me for slander. Smiles to you, Carol

Hullo Carol ....
From a writing point of view, this is fine and amusing but surely it could not all be considered as an Obituary ... or could it? If it was real, it could well land the author in trouble with a lawsuit for slander.
Over to you ... and I wish you well in the Contest.
With love from .... Nanette Mary.

In real life, it probably wouldn't be put in the obit...even if it was true...because the writer might end up wearing cement boots too! Smiles, Carol

Excellent, but you better be scared....very, very scared...for writing about the FAMILY!! You should have remained anonymous!! tee-hee!!
This is very clever, very funny and just made me laugh through-out. I thought you did a remarkable job, very extensive and well-thought out. An enjoyable read. Thanks for the laughs (on an obit no less!)

I read this through. This was cute... I liked the use of contradiction humor example... being born on two dates as a setup for his family not contradicting either date. That was funny to me. Witty names, too. I didn't see anything to change.

Did you know that most of those names were actually real ones? Really makes you wonder, especially after being married to an I talian for 23 years. Smiles...Carol
