Swapping insults: a losing game
FLASH Fired-Up
by Elizabeth Emerald
Ready to give and take offense? Piece of cake! Here's the game plan:
1. Player A makes an innocuous, insipidly self-evident statement: e.g. All lives matter.
2. Player B objects that the statement is insensitive and condescending.
3. Player A defends himself and his position.
4. Player B calls player A a bigot in thin disguise.
5. Player A calls player B a dickhead undiguised.
Touche?
Alas, overtime guaranteed.
