Mom's Magic Vision

by Y. M. Roger

I have become a super hero –
Hero here to save each day…
Day and night, you’d be surprised:
Surprised and shocked, I’d have to say.

Say truth: not all can see as I.
I see dropped keys, tissues, a straw,
Straw that’s strewn with none to own it –
It seemed absurd, but then I saw!

Saw other folks just pass on by –
By that fifteenth time ‘twas clear…
Clear your mind 'cause here’s the fact:
Fact is... I’ve
magic sight, my dear!

Dear me, yes! Can you believe it?

It simply awes, a burden, too,
Too much of this junk or that stuff –
Stuff it here, put it there . . . take two!

Two magic eyes among many –
Many without magic, it seems…
Seems super heroes need patience:
Patience with moxie supreme!

Ever notice that Moms are the only ones that see things 'out of place'...? LOL! Thank you for reading me! ;)
