Child describing how to learn colors

Learning Colors

by Therese Caron

The sky is blue, but sometimes gray
Leaves are bright, we rake and play
The sun is yellow and very bright
Clouds make shapes, and are fluffy white.

The grass is soft and crayon-green
Happy toes, brown mud in between
Purple flowers, a robin bright red
And look! A rainbow overhead!

Colors are very easy to learn
Run outside, jump, twist, and turn
All the colors are there to see
Nature gave them to you and me!
