It’s eight o’clock
It’s breakfast time
It’s time to start my day

Mum has cooked two eggs for me
Then I’ll go out and play

Two googly eggs
that look like eyes
They give a little twinkle
 

Above them, looking just like hair
A little bacon sprinkle
 

And then
a tiny sausage mouth
Turned up at the ends
 

Telling me “Good morning”
A cheery message sends
 

A breakfast face
for me to eat
Then I can start my day
 

I give Mum a thank you kiss
Before running out to play
