Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
But, We are His

Stormy Seas

Storms rage the surface of the seas
with winds that toss us all about.
Great gales may scream with daunting breath
while ev'ry tempest causes doubt.

This wayward world can bring distrust.
Each surging tide, a bitter pill.
But when we seek to find The Way --
there is a different kind of will.

The deeper that we go in Him
and humbly pray, Thy will be done,
the smoother are those choppy seas
and countless battles can be won.

There is a place where all is calm --
irrelevant of last year's rain.
Wild winds may wail and waves may crash --
But, "We are His" - is our refrain.

We all have experienced Stormy Seas in our lives and most likely, we will again. Knowing Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and that "I am His" gets me through those storms.
