A Child upon The Throne

by John A Catania

Cory, gone but not forgotten
As a mother.
You have lost one of your own.
But don't ever feel guilty for
he loved you far
more than known.
The pain you have burning inside,
while you mourn.
Your child is so graciously boasting
of his mother back home.
Telling all the angels, of the
maternal being whom it was that blessed his side.
A love that many will have never known,
But your child, A child Upon The throne.
