My FanStory Friends

by poetwatch

The ones who love me
See no faults
In what I write
Their pen kisses me
Noon and night.

The ones who hate me
See with daggers
Penned red with blood
Stabbing me in
Darkest light.

The ones who are indifferent
See with lighted eyes
pen my faults
And give me love by
Showing me how to write.

All three are my teachers
And they are friends
Who mirror the image
Seen in their soul.

One is love and tenderness
Born for paradise
With feathered wings of the heart.

The other is pain and misery
I walk the razor's edge,
With caution, on this sword.

The last, but not the least
Teaches me and them
That writer's words must hold true.

These Three
Three men are my friends
He that loves me, he that hates me, he that is indifferent to me. Who loves me, teaches me tenderness; who hates me, teaches me caution; who is indifferent to me, teaches me self-reliance.
Dinger

I did not know of whom to write. So I was browsing through a 1948 book "Leaves of Gold" and came about this poem. I don't know who Dinger is but I liked what he said. This saying that I wrote is about all us poet, writers, and our moods. I hope you enjoy and love me. :)
