It was only yesterday for some
Was this date of infamy sung
How many wars have seen the day
After this most horrid play

So many died with this attack
Calling forth the warriors act
Now to free the world of tyranny
With loss of so much ships at sea

Still the call was made with sight'
To free all from the horror plight
Soon the turn of World War II
Because the Yanks made the day rule

Now we fear so much today
Terrorist seem to have their play
Trying to make the world less free
So we gather under the flag with glee
