Caterpillar World 2

by Bill Schott

Upon punishing a caterpillar

Puritan pilgrims pilloried perpetrators

plenty of pixie-sized pillories were prepared

Squinting constables connected the caterpillar culprits

to tiny, toy-sized, torturing trunnions

If the wee worms were witches

they were burned at the twig
