Unhappy, she waits.

with delicate traits.

Little puppet girl,
so like one I know,
lips nary a curl,
emotions don't show.

Deep in those eyes,
another girl dwells,
too old and too wise,

Hurts brutally inflicted,

never once gifted,

Waits, life eskew,
in a strange place,
