Biographical Commentary
I Was Looking In Wrong Places
I was looking for joy, love and peace
but looking in all the wrong places
I couldn't find them in love relationships
but these too, were in wrong places
I looked into new career changes
still I was looking in a wrong place
I looked and made a wrong choice
to date someone I did not know.
He gave me a drink with a drug
and I found myself in a wrong place
I have no remembrance of the night
so for sure I'd been in a wrong place
Two weeks later I was to find
this choice was one that did me harm
It was then I began looking for help
and found some very right places
With folks who loved me for who I was
and showed me that I needed to keep
Looking to find all the right places
for the glory of God and my good.
