nature haiku suite
Leaves are turning shades
of crimson, yellow, and brown
forewarning of death
Cold winds blow leaves off
Bare branches, uncover nests
Empty of movement
Brown grass tipped with green
Giving hopes of more color
Tweets heard. Movement seen
Nature explodes, stems
Bud, trees re-clothe themselves, 'til
Chlorophyll fails again
