This work has reached the exceptional level
Holding tight in the middle of a storm.

Blow'n in the wind

Yesterday's amulets
hung out to dry...
long- held values
gone awry;
scattered--
their collective remnants
ride a wayward wind
till
they are sucked
into
a bruised-blackened
void
where
they are chilled,
blended in empty rhetoric,
stored in twitter feeds,
and
tilled in orange cosmic dust.
