an age-old legend
Moon Cursed
by RodG
Lightning streaked back and forth across black space. Radek Kruczek watched the storm through an arched window. He felt the full moon long before he saw it. Hair rose as if drawn by a magnet and thickened on his forearms, his shoulders and down his back. His eyes turned yellow. He felt the flesh tighten across his cheekbones, his lips pull away from his teeth to expose sharp fangs. He tried to speak, but only a long howl came forth.
Imprisoned by the moon, Radek, more wolf than man, flung open the castle door and raced into the dark night.
