What happens from being chilled

Cold

by Twin2

Shivering outside in the cold
wind chill factor crisp and bold
my hands freezing in my gloves
In my pockets I give them a shove

On my head I wear a ski mask
how long will this snow fall last
It's freezing my nose is beet red
I feel constant pressure in my head

Now I'm starting to cough and sneeze
may I borrow a handkerchief please
Now I'm pulling down my long sleeves
I don't want to catch any illness or disease

Man I want that bus to come fast
I've suffered frost bite in the past
I'm shaking and it's so icy and frosty
pneumonia would be way too costly

I can feel a coldness tingling in my ears
we better move fast and change gears
Finally my prayers have been answered
the bus approaches my eyes are blurred

The heat hit me like a ton of bricks
this nasty winter was making me sick
after a long day I'm back at home
nestled in my bed toasty and alone
