I avoid liars and their lies, whenever I can, 
but each and every day, I’m still drawn to that man.  
You see, my increasing need to read the newest news 
alas, persuades me to peruse what are not his views. 
Whatsoever he tweets, if it’s planned or impromptu,  
inevitably includes information untrue.    
No matter if he keeps his office, or is impeached. 
he’ll surely prevaricate, thanks to freedom of speech, 
always abandoning truth, whether he wants to or not, 
for, no matter what, a leopard can never change his spots. 
With his last dying breath, he’ll be telling a tall tale,
and if he gets what he earned, he'll be lying in jail.
