Love gone off key

A bad note

A BAD NOTE

Our love was like a piano key
We played love's music in harmony
I played ivory, you played ebony
The pitch we played for you and me

The tune of love is all so sweet
Beautiful music, a beautiful beat
Each note we played, just so fine
The tune of love, just so divine

So why did the notes go slowly sour?
Why did our love become so dour?
The old piano is now not played
It's gone off key when you strayed

All that are left are our rings of love
And a broken keyboard you can see above
Don't think we'll play that music again
Our music is lost just can't explain

What went wrong, those keys are neglected
It's a really sad song, those keys are rejected
I'll never forget that music we had
The music of love that has now turned bad
