Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Just a little gesture is all it takes

I think I saved a life today

I THINK I SAVED A LIFE TODAY

I think I saved a life today,
But just not in the usual way

I rang a friend, it was no big deal
To see how he was, just how did he feel

Three simple words, I had to say
Three heartfelt words, "Are you ok"?

So just think about, have you got a friend?
That you could get in touch with by phone or send?

And ask them how they really felt
You might not know, the cards been dealt

They might seem fine from an outside view
And not showing a sign of feeling blue

But three small words just might make their day
Three small words: "are you ok?"
