Listen to the Hand...or is it Foot?

by frogbook

No, No, I'm not available today,
those of us with such beauty, have to pay.
Long hours of primping, no time for fun
Ta, ta now, must be on the run.

Oh, but little primate, I see it in your eyes,
a bit of sadness, but oh so wise,
You work so hard, too much to do,
let's run away, escape this zoo.

With a thoughtful look, he said, "You're right!"
Off they went into the night.
Everyone searched; they were never found
the fans were sad; the zookeeper let down.

One day the keeper received a postcard, sun shining,
two smiling friends, on coconuts dining.
Their own private island, ocean sparkling bright,
It said, 'Don't worry, all is right!'
