Writing About Doing It

One time was my only time. I told myself right away, it was something I'd never forget if I lived to be a hundred, so I decided to write about it. I made a mental note to write while I still remembered what happened. Unfortunately, that thing turned out so badly, I don’t even want to think about it, and now I can't recall what it was. At ninety-nine, my memory isn’t as good as before.
I’d better hurry, because tomorrow’s my birthday. Let’s see, did I say I thought I’d remember that thing I did when I’m a hundred?
