And God Said, Let There Be...

At the very beginning of all time
Nothing had form, there was no rhyme.
Darkness covered space, then God made His mark.

God's spirit moved in the face of the dark,
Opening the scene on life's new start.
Day and night separated, each played their part.

Seas were formed and the land was dry,
And God saw it was good, the angels cried.
Into the Earth, He breathed trees and grass,
Draped the stars, moon and sun for scars to pass,

Life in the seas and then in the sky,
Every living creature He made with a sigh.
Then He made man to rule over all.

Took a rib to make woman to answer man's call.
Here creation was born with the fish in the sea,
Every fowl in the air and all life that we see.
Ruling was man with domain o'er all,
Everything that crept in the Earth at God's call.

Be fruitfull and multiply, God's words rang true.
Everything was good and fresh and new.

And when He was done,
the Father of all creation,
Lord over all of mankind,
said to his angels in fun ...
let us watch what happens
there on Earth through years, we will
be sure my creation stands with
light , land, laughter and love still.
