Sickness, Moving, Diet, but quiet

Emotions in Motion

by tmoler

No oxygen inside me.
When I was little and wee.
Had sickness and was very ill.
But a mind with a strong will.
Unable to barely utter a word.
Active inside but not heard.
Moving to a different state.
And eating only one fruit loop on a small plate.
My divorced father and mother.
Was not my druther.
Off, sister and I.
And Mom flirted with another guy.
We moved to another city.
The therapist showed pity.
Did not get to study at the high school with arts.
I did grow up eating pop tarts.
Growing up exposed to experiences culturally rich.
This is my pitch.
