Lies are told when a someone is in fear
A quick easy fix you think they'll what to hear
Never expect a lie to go unnoticed and disappear
You only prolonging the pain for yourself and the one who is dear

Telling the truth can be hard to do
You risk hurting other people and yourself too
But when you do the healing can begin
It's much easier to forgive when the lying finally ends

Tell the truth
It will hurt either way
Deal with it now
