Spiritual poetry (free verse)
His Fragrance Is Sweet
He's the Lily of the Valley
and sweet Rose of Sharon
the Rock on which to stand
and has all our lives planned.
He walked the earth, doing good
touching and healing many
from illnesses and disease.
He was tempted just as we are
yet never once did He sin.
Today He gives peace within
giving new life so we can begin
to become brand new creatures
so we'll share His love
with our fellow woman and man.
He is wanting to bless us
with much that is good
when we walk with Him
as He says we should.
Let the sweet Rose of Sharon
give our life a fragrance
that always smells so sweet.
