I had two grandchildren born February 23rd and February 28th of this year. One survived, one did not. This poem is dedicated to both Simon Karl, who lived, and Bella Jade, who is Heaven's smallest angel.

It's taken me a few months to be able to write this poem. At first it was too fresh, and then I debated over the poem type. I chose the diamante because I felt it tied the two babies together in a positive way.
