A wingless fairy and a stringless lute

A chapter in the book My Limericks

Bitty Berry

by Badger_29

Bitty Berry is a fairy;
but he has no wings

He collects copper coins,
silver rings,
and other shiny things

Then strums a lute,
whose sound is mute,
because it has no strings

With ease
on the breeze
his melodic notes float
as to the mushrooms he sings!

I would like to thank Google for the image.

I love alliteration. This was inspired by a berry on a bush while waiting for the RT metro train here in Sacramento at the Royal Oaks station.
