Inspired by a sermon I heard this morning.
Woman After Your Heart
Lord, when I see a friend hurting
may my tender heart be broken
just as Your heart is broken for me
Lord, when I see others cry
let me have compassion
to comfort them as You do me
When I see others rejoicing
in the good You're showing them
let me rejoice as You rejoice in me
When I see others who are quite ill
may I touch them lovingly
just as the times You've comforted me.
Lord, may I be a woman after Your heart
in all I say and do everyday with love
as You give words to show love to me.
