Let me introduce myself: 'I am Mister Winter',
the one and only, you know.
Some don't like me: 'dogs and cats'.
But I bring snowflakes every now and then,
kids build snowmen, people skid.
On top of this I bring ice,
to skate on and not to eat.

I am just here for three months,
when one sees bare trees.
Fallen discoloured leaves, various tints.

Mrs. Winter I left behind,
this period is just too cold for her.
When the snow fades, and
nature starts growing,
I will bring her into spring,
with a brightly shining ring.

her and you all.
