A cautionary tale for little spiders

Mr. Spider

See the candle burning bright
Upon the window sill
Mr. Spider high above
Is searching for a kill

Mr. Spider spinning down
Upon his silken chain
Mr. Spider dangling now
Plays a dangerous game

Suddenly, a spark, a puff
What a terrible shame
No more Mr. Spider now
Just his silken chain
