Timothy and Marylyne in Love's Embra

by Ogden

REPETITION POEM (Must repeat a line three times)
Timothy and Marylyne in Love's Embrace

I will love you, Marylyne, until the end of time.
I'm sorry dear, you have your thumb in my ear, and I didn't hear.

That's your hearing aid, not my thumb; have you been tippling the rum?

What were you whispering in my ear, dear, that I didn't hear?

"I will love you, Marylyne, until the end of time!"

I still can't hear you, Timothy; be patient with me.

"I will love you, Marylyne. Until.....The End of Time!"

Whaaat?!!
 (HICCUP!)
Time's up!!
