"This is my third book of Fairytales in my "Shed A Tear Series."
"I seem to have found my 'Notch' when it comes to entertaining the 'Younger Minds."
"I will personally narrate each and every fairytale and take you to a place seldom ventured."
"A place of saddness but joy...
"A place of death but...
'New Life.'
"And a place where we all can go when we need a good cry."

"The Mouse Afraid in the House!"
"The year was long past in 'Once Upon a Time' and the house was cold and alone...
"Except...

"Food?"
"Of only a morsel of...
"Food!"
"Arvie was 'A Church Mouse' born in a town call 'Haven.'
"And, in this town all whom dwelled were poor...
"So, so, very, very, poor...

"The year is 1908."
"And, the residents tried but the grounds were soured....
"The rain doth never cometh and the sun neverth sunshines...
"But one thing the residents of 'Haven' had was Heart and Hope."

"Yes Son?"
"Why, am I, always so Hungry?"
"I know son but I'm trying?"
"The seeds will not take so, we have no flour...
"The animals are starving, so...
"We have no milk?"
"The chickens are few and have no feed so...
"We have no eggs...
"The ground was barren and dark...
"Most have abandoned 'Haven' for a better place...

"We have survived on prayers and what little my family out West has sent....
"God will provide for us son...

"The year now is 1909 and the empty house has now been occupied."
"Dad?"
"Yes, son?"
"This house is so cold and empty?"
"Yes son but God sent us here from the elements and now we will no longer be wet and as cold."
"But food father?"
"When will I and my sister be fed?"
"It has been so long and we feel ill?"
"God will provide...

"Arvie too was starving but found as interest with these humans...
"Perhaps they will leave crumbs?"

"Time progressed and Spring brought knew hope"
"All of the foodstuff from family out West was exhausted but dad had seed and plenty from out West!"
"He planted the wheat seed and the corn."
"And he prayed...
'Blackened Clouds' appeared and rain finally fell...
"Followed with sunlight...
"Tiny seeds of wheat and corn (poked through their lazy heads) and all was suddenly green...

"No more was the ground barren and dark!"
"Soon the Mill was alive with the sounds of grinding wheat and corn!"
"Bread was freshly prepared and fed to two, starving, children, and...
"The animals were fed providing much milk as well as eggs from the many chickens now!"

"I even heard that every day a slice of fresh bread was left in thanks for Arvie the Church Mouse!"
