Oh, FanStory, Wherefore Art Thou?
What evil lurks and drives a stake between
the influential writers here this day.
For many fallen dreamers are unseen
and having lost their dreams have gone astray.
Displeased by their own muse, they watched as time
became a burden to writing down their words.
Their feelings dwindled makes them hard to climb
and leaving doesn't feel or sound absurd.
But they'll decide their options slowly still,
that whether staying benefits their choice.
For if they leave it's not their true will.
They yen to listen to their inner voice.
Their writing overshadowed by their guilt
can make their decisions of leaving wilt.
For the last six months, some writers have shared their feelings of leaving and their writings have become hard to do no matter what input occurs. There are downtimes to writing for poets and then there is a tidal wave of input. But when a poet becomes disheartened by their writing then I fear to believe that person is in the chronic final stages of the disease. Some even have sought elsewhere and other sites to relieve the symptoms of this disease. I am also one who been elsewhere to use other sites that have a poet's community but always return to find a friendship here real and genuine. But that's not the issue between genuine and real friendships the real issue is that after so long some writers feel there is something that needed that is different at this website and I'm starting to understand what they mean but I haven't been able to put a finger on it. I hope someday I never find it.
