Inspired by my grandson's love for rain forests and all that dwell there, I wrote this poem about the negative effects of deforestation. The Emerald Green Tree Boa is typically found in the region of the Amazon Basin and spends 99% of its life in trees where it hunts for birds. Deforestation affects more than just trees.
